After graduating from college I spent my time studying Mathematics because during my college days I find it hard to understand the very basic of Mathematics and what relevance does it have in our normal lives. Needless to say it was my very hard subjects not to mention that I was an engineering student.

And so I made it a promise to find the real meaning of what is a mathematics in our daily life. And so begin my adventure of Mathematics. First I begin to study the full book of Mathematics Algebra and Trigonometry. The book of algebra and trigonometry with geometry was very simple in presentation that I began to understand them more fully with the help of some books from college with more specific subject in algebra, geometry and trigonometry.

After studying in full nearly the whole book of algebra, geometry and trigonometry. I proceeded with the Differential and Integral Calculus studying the whole book and constantly looking back to algebra, geometry and trigonometry. While studying Differential and Integral Calculus I also gradually examine Elementary Differential Equation.  My study method was more on verifying the theory with complete solution often leaving complicated ones later as I move along. I find it relieving to know that after a few days when I find very complicated theory to be very simple after a few days of solving problems and I think that’s what make Differential and Integral calculus a very interesting subject to read.

After I finished proving theories in Differential and Integral Calculus I proceeded to Elementary Differential Equation. Constantly looking back to previous subject of Algebra, trigonometry, geometry and Differential and Integral Calculus.  While studying Mathematics I also studied the book of Electric Devices and University Physics and other related books.

After reading and studying mathematics for almost more than half a year. I begin to realize that mathematics was a very interesting subject but the subject was not just for me it did not come naturally for me unlike I know some from college who has a natural sense of understanding in the subject who did not have to search the whole book of the subject but readily has a solution in mind.

Much like when I enjoy attending my favorite subject of Strength of Materials a Major Subject for the Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. I find the subject very easy and I understood very well in fact I attend the class taking notes and take the new topic on the next days exam without having to review on the night before the exam and still top the exam at around 80% to 90% I was even amazed my self on how easily I could create the solution. It maybe because our teacher was very well versed on the subject that I find it easy to understand. I begin to wonder if I ever did study civil engineering or architecture which was my favorite ones since I was very much inclined to drawing and analyzing figures and weights as civil engineering does.

As I have moved along with the subject of Mathematics even on those times I have come think about computers and how they works but I did not pay much attention during that time about computers as much as it is today. These days I am very much amazed on how a simple program could create something that a person can see like the executable program or the application software.

I remember during my college days when I was introduced to a classmate of mine who had a computer at his room and has a program software that we have been discussing in our classroom only on  the blackboard and he has it on his computer. I am taking about c++ here used to program our subject of microprocessors he had it all figured out from the hardware to the software even the voltages of the individual electronic components he knows how to integrate it to the software program. I said to myself this guy is very smart. I did not wonder how he has a lot say about c++ in our class.

Today I have been studying c++ on my own analyzing simple programs. Aside from analyzing c++. I have also studied a number of computer books that I have in my closet. Those includes A+ Complete for computer tech guys, Window 2000 Network Infrastructure Administration, Network Cabling, Networking Essentials and others.

I also happen to have studied some software applications and those include Auto CAD, Bosom Network Simulator, Cisco Packet Tracer, Web Easy Professional 6, Micromedia DreamWeaver 8, Gimp2, MyPaint, Inkscape, Joomla, Xampp, MySQL, Windows 2000 Server, Windows XP, Ubuntu, Fedora, OpenOffice.org, Office 2007, Office 2003, VBmachine, C++ Borland and others.

Since the study of computers and computer software applications is a never ending adventure there are still a number of applications that I need to study at home. I take it one subject at a time.

Let us say that it took me a year to understand basic computer systems. Another year to study and understand hardware and software troubleshooting and another year to study and understand basic computer networking. I wish to share my knowledge that I created this blog to share my ideas and gain knowledge in return. I guess I would say that the journey is on in pursuit of knowledge.

By Education I happen to have finished college from Cebu Institute of Technology University. It used to be a simple institute but in time it became a university. I would say that I am grateful to have even finished college though it may have been hard at times but still by the grace of the Almighty I did somehow managed to finished college and I thank God for that.
